为什么很多公司都要求员工用英文名字？原因有三点，很真实！

有些外企或者一些互联网公司，他们都会要求新入职的员工，先给自己起一个英文名字。很多人都想不明白，自己有中文名字，好好的为什么非得起英文名字呢？其实，这些公司让员工用英文名字，也是有原因的，小编总结了一下，原因主要有三点。

一、淡化等级感，要知道，国内的等级感是很严重的，有些小公司的主管主任之类的，常常都会觉得自己当上了主任，感觉很了不起，如果你见面不跟他打招呼，日后在工作的时候他都有可能会找你的麻烦。要是用了英文名就不一样了，见面打招呼，直接叫他的英文名，这样一来双方之间感觉是平等的，没有鲜明的等级感了，也更利于促进上下级之间的感情。

二、英文名字比中文名字顺嘴，比如说，有的人叫XX伟，你要是尊重他，管叫他哥话，那么可能会有歧义，如果说公司有客户的话，直接这样喊，也会给公司带来不好的影响。还有一点就是，有的人中文名字比较土，或者喊快了有别的意思，这样别人心里面也很不舒服。

三、公司有这方面的需求，很多外企基本上每个员工都有英文名字，因为很多管理层都是外国人，这样叫起来比较方便。还有一些行业，比如英语培训机构、外贸行业，这些公司都是有这方面需求的。有的企业也会考虑的比较长远，每个员工都用英文名字，这样很多公司在挖人的时候，根本不知道这个人的真实姓名，也是无从下手。

在公司不管用中文名还是英文名，从公司的角度考虑，都是为了公司更好的管理，维护公司利益方面着想的。我们也没有必要去纠结这些事情，名字毕竟只是一个代号而已，小编认为有些人的名字比较特殊的情况下，在公司用英文名字是一个很好的办法。

一直想当然地以为co是公司的意思，Ltd是有限的意思，所以有限公司的写法是“CO”或者“CO.,LTD.”。但其实Limited有“有限的”和“有限公司”双重含义，其简写“Ltd”有且只有“有限公司”一种意思。“有限公司”在国际上的正确英译是Ltd，因Co.,Ltd.在中国被大量使用，所以也被认可。

以前18强为例，经统计，两家省略Ltd，三家使用Co., Ltd.，13家直接使用Ltd，而没有叫“ABC Co”这样的公司。
